Missed-Call Text-Back Consent

Last updated: June 2026

In plain languageThis page documents the public, reviewer-verifiable consent flow for Toolbench missed-call text-back messages.

1. Consent flow

A customer opts in only by calling a participating Business and reaching the Business's no-answer greeting. Before any text-back is sent, the caller hears the Business's greeting followed by this fixed, non-editable disclosure:

We'll text you back from this number to help. You'll get one text per missed call, and message frequency varies if you reply. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime to opt out.

After that disclosure, the Business may send one customer-care text reply to continue the conversation the customer started by calling. The customer may reply to continue texting, reply HELP for help, or reply STOP to opt out.

2. Message purpose and frequency

Messages are conversational customer-care replies to missed calls, not marketing or promotional messages. Examples include answering the customer's service question, scheduling or rescheduling an appointment, or arranging a callback. Message frequency varies based on the customer's conversation with the Business.

Message and data rates may apply.

3. Opt-out, help, and data sharing

Customers can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Customers can reply HELP for help or contact the Business directly. Mobile opt-in data is not sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
