Podium will quote the HVAC shop. Here is what the public pages print.

Two Podium pages, read the same day, do not tell the same story.

The general pricing page (podium.com/pricing) prints three plans: Core at $399 a month, Pro at $599 a month, Signature at a custom price. On that same page, under the HVAC line, it says HVAC businesses should contact sales for applicable pricing.

The home-services pages (the getpricing page and homeservices.podium.com/plans) do not print a monthly dollar. They say get a quote. Core on the home-services getpricing page is described as a consolidated inbox for forms, texts, calls, and email, plus AI response suggestions. It is not a price.

So "Podium is $399" is true on the general card and false as an HVAC quote. If a roundup prints $399 next to an HVAC logo, they used the wrong page.

The line item the quote leaves off the headline

The home-services getpricing FAQ states a base 10DLC fee of $5 per month per location. That includes 3 message segments per second and up to 2,000 T-Mobile messages per day per location. It is a carrier fee, not the software price. Ask whether it is inside the quote or on top. A shop with two locations is looking at two of those fees before anyone has texted a customer.

Podium does not publish, on the pages we read, a per-conversation cap comparable to Jobber’s 30. Do not invent one. The limit they did print is the 10DLC daily T-Mobile count.

What owners actually buy Podium for

The searches are podium reviews and podium pricing, not "Podium field service management." The job most shops bought was reviews plus a text inbox. NiceJob and Birdeye show up in other people’s alternative lists for that job. We are not writing their review. We are drawing the line at the call you did not answer.

A review request after the job does not text back the call you missed while you were on it. A quote for an AI employee that books onto a dispatch board is a different purchase: you are buying, or replacing, the system the job lives in. Toolbench does not replace that system. If you want Jobber or Housecall Pro to keep the schedule, keep it. The front office in front of it is a separate bill.

What Toolbench publishes, so you can compare a number to a number

Pricing page, September 25, 2026: $49 a month after a 7-day trial. 500 credits. $0.10 after that. Included: missed-call text-back, the Google profile, review replies, the lead inbox. A credit is one action, not a Podium conversation and not a receptionist-minute.

Google Business Profile software, as a category, is the other page. Rank trackers and review inboxes keep the listing. They do not catch the missed call. That page is the category. This page is the Podium quote.

What we will not claim

Podium’s marketing pages print savings and conversion lines ("30% more leads", a shop that "saves $2,000/month", "40% of leads after hours"). Those are their claims about their customers. They are not in this article. Do not "balance" them with an unsourced Toolbench percentage.

FAQ

On the general pricing page, Core is $399 a month and Pro is $599. The same page tells HVAC businesses to contact sales. The home-services plan pages we read had no monthly dollar, only a quote. Use the quote you are actually sent, not a roundup’s $399.

The home-services FAQ lists a base 10DLC fee of $5 per month per location, with a daily T-Mobile message cap. Ask if your quote includes it.

For reviews, other vendors will name NiceJob and Birdeye. For a missed call while you are on a job, the comparison is a text-back, not another review inbox. For a full dispatch board, the comparison is your field-service software, and Toolbench is not that software.

We did not run their product. podium reviews is a 480-search question. Read recent owner reviews for the trade you are in, and read the quote. This page is the published price, not a star rating.

See the plan on the pricing page. The category page is Google Business Profile software. Review replies live on reviews. The catch is missed-call text-back.
